I have to agree.

Hell, I don't care who takes the snaps as long as we are successful, but I have yet to see the 1st post that contains ANY evidence pointing out what JL has done this year to suggest he deserves more playing time....at this time.

Again Jordan Jefferson didn't make any excuses.......he just didn't talk to reporters.

I don't understand how a major corporation would want a CEO who constantly makes decision that lose a business money but owns up to them vs another CEO that thus far turned a profit with the exception of making more money than the #1 company in the land but not owning up to that.

Good people don't always equate to good leaders.

Bill Belicheck is a dick.......rarely shakes hand when he loses and will go down as one of the best coaches of all time.

Indeed, there won't be a QB controversy after this season between JJ and JL. If JL wants to further his career as a QB he will transfer to some place such as Northwestern State and become an instant star. Being that they just lost their starting QB for the season, he would have done if he had been up there this year. But, someone bullshitted the kid into believing that he would have a chance to play this season. Hopefully, he has figured out that they lied to him, and will do what he needs to do to further his own career elsewhere.

I call BS.....a Rice grad working at NASA wouldn't spell astronaughts correctly. Its on the NASA initial screening

Can't use the excuse of shorthand when you add letters

"19 year old" excuse...stats say doesnt matter how old you are, if your good your good..

if your good, your good? seriously? You are a phd from rice that evaluates astronauts? I can't believe you typed that and I can't believe you might really believe that. So let me ask you wtf do we need to pay coaches for? let's just roll out our 5 stars versus their 4 stars and our 5 stars win by one star everytime because "they're good"

maturity, experience, knowledge gathering, skill development, repetition, game plans, adjustments none of that shite matters, just roll out of the crib and if you got it, you got it?

quote:

6-2 record with a great defense that has saved the day damn near everytime...Thank you Chavis!

wow

LSU had the game won against Arky when malleveto imploded in the 4th qtr giving JJ his first loss as a starter

LSU's defense didn't score 135pts in the first 5 games of the season

Granted the entire offense performed poorly against UF bringing down the scoring per game from 27pt/game to 23pt/game

quote:

its called gathering information....Coaches do this with film as well...

but you have already made your conclusions DR NASA.

quote:

hence: play calling and 2 million people asking for Crowton's head...Protection for JJ that JL didnt have last year

dude I don't know where you were last year but the Tiger Rant was an abortion last year calling for everyone's head, ESPECIALLY JLEE AND HIS 16 INTS

Last year all we heard was "why don't they play JJ? He has to be better than this guy."

quote:

I work for NASA, I screen astronaughts for space travel, I live on Clearlake in Houston, TX and I got my doctorate from Rice...I think i've done pretty well.

So half way through the screening process do you routinely make conclusions about the subject and dismiss them post haste without finishing the data gathering? I sure hope not because if you do, you sure aren't much of a scientist.

what choice did he have? and further more, why are you so worried about the media? who gives a shite about the media? I would rather JJ own up to his team mates (which he has done repeatedly) than stand in front of Guilbeau like zombie like Lee did muttering the same "gotta get better, can't force throws, have to be smarter" mantra that he ran out week after week.

And furthermore anyone with half a brain knows the QB's #1 job is DON'T GET YOUR TEAM BEAT. JLee got LSU beat, JJ has not done that yet. So until JJ gets LSU beat, I say leave the kid alone

55555, these intangibles are only helpful at the margins and sometimes they don't matter at all.

J. russell did pretty well at LSU, sure looks like he has all the intangibles at Oakland.

JL didn't produce and you can't lead unless your
production is good. if JL throw 1 int. then the moarle of the entire team will suffer just like last year.

you make be good at what you do, but can you coach a QB thats what JJ needs.

Mallett didn't seem to have any problems passing on Florida

Thats because AR has a REAL quarterback and Offensive Coordinator...

And exactly what is Mallet's age and classification? Just saying

About a year older (Mallett) and started about the same amount of games.

Just trying to point out that passing on Fla could be done and we didn't do it...whether it is coaching or the QB or a combo of both.

Again your misrepresnting the facts, one quarterback had a defense the other didnt...u put the same defense last year with JJ this year, the record is about the same or even worse...

Did anyone stop think about maybe the defense would have been better had it not have to be on the field so much after turnovers? People are saying we had to play from behind a lot last year.

INT's had a lot to do with that. Lee put himself in that possition many time, that's why he had to sling it even more and play from behind. i.e. start the game against georgia with a pick-6, pick-6 to Bama, pick-6 his first pass to Auburn.

No one defends our defense in playing from behind eithor. Playing from behind also affects a defense because teams run on you more and wear you down even more once they have the lead and our defense went through that a lot last year.

That being said, the mental lapses by our defense didn't exactly help Lee out eithor, they went hand and hand. No 1 unit(except for the 99 Rams offense) wins championships. It's about the team that is most solid at every unit any given year.

Who knows,if RP hadn't been so stupid and remained on the team, I think we had more of the peices in place than anyone thinks except the co-dc's. I think we had the enough players on defense to maybe hold up just enough in some games for us to play anyone.
