All I see is a bunch of whiny bitches on here. This field is not much bigger than the Box! 5 ft further at the corners, 10 ft further in the gaps, and 3 ft further in dead center. Of course if the wind is blowing in at 25mph you're not going to hit it out...it'd be the same at the box if the wind was blowing at at 25mph. Everyone has to play on it, so what's the big deal? It's literally only 5-10ft bigger field

Both teams should play in a park that rewards teams with power. It doesn’t have to be where everyone can blast it out the park, but power hitters shouldn’t have this much trouble hitting home runs.

I would love to see an avg runs scored comparison between the Super regionals and the CWS.

Probably half the amount of runs scored?

Whiney bitches?

For wanting to see teams and players that hit home runs be able to hit home runs?

And the dimensions you mention are a lot when it comes to hitting home runs in a park where the predominant wind blows in from center.

This is a stupid lazy take.

So is "it's time to move the series" because we are mad we got robbed of a couple of home runs tonight by the wind.

That's all fine and dandy but they set it up with the predominant wind that always blows in. So your dimension comparisons are meaningless.

Maybe you missed the commentary Ben McDonald made stating that wind blowing in is a rarity at the Box while wind blowing in is the norm at Charles Schwab. The stadium is oriented in the wrong direction in addition to boundaries.

The orientation is what bugs me. It's June. The blows from the south in June.

It's not a new issue and not being fixed. We won tonight, has no bearing on how terrible the park is to host a championship.

It's not lazy. It's a lot of work. Lazy is sticking with the status quo and say deal with it.

And it's not just home runs tonight. Scoring and home runs in general have been way down in the CWS since the CWS moved there.

And Morris home run would have been a pop up to right that didn't reach the track.

Would LOVE to see the CWS rotate.

Especially to places INDOORS like the ballparks in Houston and Dallas.

I’ve never had any desire ever to visit Omaha Nebraska for ANY reason EVER.

Imagine how many insane Tiger fans would pack the ballparks in Houston and Dallas if we played in the CWS there.

It would be insane, and I’ve already got a boner just thinking about it.

Crews homerun was the first in 4 games, I think.

Both of tonight's pitchers said the wind and the park helped them tonight. They said they used the fact that the bats would fall short.

There's more to baseball than just HRs. Or at least, there should be.
