If she would replace the hitting coach, she would be okay. The pitching and defense of the team is very good. The hitting has not be as good as it should be.

They just won a series over a Top 10 team and were one 1-0 extra inning loss from finishing tied for 3rd in the conference. This season was always going to be judged based on how they do in the NCAA tournament. Let’s let that play out first before drawing conclusions.

I get what youre saying but this thread is premature. No one gives a shite about the SEC tournament. Lets see what happens in the regionals.
Besides last year LSU is still making it to the super regionals every single year, which I know LSU fans want more than that but thats not terrible in anyway.
The biggest issue to me is her philosophy on offense. This team has lacked offense for a long time now and Id imagine it will be our undoing this year too.
Also when it comes to firing the coach thread, it always gets overlooked. Its like yeah that's great but who you going to replace her with?

That’s the beauty of having a fantastic program and proven leaders like JJ, Mulkey and BK.
They keep the standard high and everyone needs to know that.
Should always be progressing.
Down years happen, but rebounding to build off any prior successes is what it’s all about to play in potential championships.

Yea this argument held up when you dumbasses were saying that “there’s too much parity in sports these days to have highly successful programs” during the Alleva era, but we’re LSU and we should be competing for national championships. Cry about it
