I just can't believe a guy who ran for 520 yards his FR and SO year (damn near 7 ypc) only got 7 carries last year.

And weve tried the Keiland pass atleast twice since then to no avail. I think Ware tried the last one

Nope. Spencer Ware has thrown 1 pass in his career. In 2010 he threw a 39 yard TD to Rueben Randle in the 4th quarter of the Auburn game.

Meh. Our TE talent isn't very good to do that.

The nonbalanced line with Dickson in the NC, could be a good play to use in the Redzone. Run with it and then hit them with the pass.

Alright alright, back to posting some plays:

I think a change of pace could really help boost this D. Especially since Shep has proven he can get rushing yards throughout his career.

How about this play:

Beckham lines up in the slot and goes in motion for the first pitch option.

Keep Copeland at FB for lead blocker and use Ford as teh pitch guy. Shep at QB. We could even run it out of the shotgun.

In addition to the obvious options, this sets up for us to actually pitch to beckham or even having shep stop on a dime and pass it. OR even have Shep line up in the slot and have MEtt pitch it to him on the option and shep throws it.

I think Clement has real potential, but all the TEs looks like dogshit in practice.

I do agree I would like to see the TEs utilized more in the offense, but this year we just don't have the talent.

I saw the Patriots run a one man screen in the preseason game last week that ive never seen before and it intrigued me

Defense doesnt notice enough to pull off and it gets the guard on the playside linebacker and if the RB can make one guy miss he would house it (blue and Ford would be perfect)

You mean at :45 in this video?

If so, that's just a delayed HB release, though some of those to Blue would be great. He stays in as our best pass blocker on 3rd downs anyway, so it would be a weapon.

Nah they deffinitly had an Olineman release and go block the linebacker. The announcers made a point about it and it could be really effective and safer than a normal screen play

I hope to see the forward pass this year, it's been so long without it.

I hope to see less of the shortside option and passes that take place behind the line of scrimmage.

"No doubt, but how hard is it to run a bubble screen as a QB?"

It's not very hard to run any of those plays and even when Lee was throwing interceptions he was racking up passing yards, Les just quit throwing the ball. Lee could have thrown all the INT's he did in 2008 and last years team would have been just fine outside of the 2 games against Alabama and that's assuming Lee made no progress, we know Jefferson didn't make progress in 4 years.
