Does anybody remember if it was dangelo Peterson pissed off after the championship loss saying they practiced a lot of passing plays and a whole different playbook but come game time back to power I formation. As a player and coach on the staff I don't know how many times I can put up with that.

Mettenberger should have taken over after the SEECG. No way Jordan Jefferson was going to beat Bama 3 times in a row. It was a miracle that Jordan Jefferson beat Bama 2 times in a row.

Like I said in another post, Les has every intention of running those plays AFTER he establishes success ramming the ball down their throat. But if they stop the run he's going to keep ramming it in there until it works. THEN you'll see those plays.

Yes because everyone knows "those plays" won't succeed unless you establish the run FIRST. "Those plays" can't possibly make the run game more effective.

Yes that was him. Peterson always brought heat on the UREC courts.

I thought Mett should have been the first QB in after Lee. But Lee still should have started both the SECCG and the BCS

Why can't the players and assistants meet with Alleva and say they will boycott the game if things don't change. No team would mean no crowd = good bye LM

Alabama defense has fresh legs after a month off so even Jordan Jefferson's quick feet wouldn't have been able to escape Alabama's fresh legs any better than Mettenberger's slow feet.

I'll drop the mic now because if Mettenberger had taken all the 1st team reps in bowl practice LSU would have beat Alabama on 1/9/12.

Didn't he get hurt at the end of the 2010 Bama game.

We'll never know, but I highly doubt it. Mett was plain mediocre to bad in 2012 against SEC defenses, and none of those tams were as good as 2011 Alabama.

There was an issue in the locker room, les chose Jeffersons side bc there was no reconciling it at that point in time. Tyrann and some others were best friends with Jefferson.

There were packages practiced that never ended up being used.

The locker room dynamic is not often given thought by fans, but it can cause problems.

I honestly think this is why the team looked so lethargic on the sidelines Saturday.
