You've heard the saying "snatching victory from the jaws of defeat!" along w "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!" or something like that. Tigers meltdown last night has largely gone unmentioned since they won. Just think of the meltdown on the Rant had they lost.... NO don't....

Putting on the Purple and Gold shades and it was probably just what this team needed. Got to play for 40 minutes. The defense down the stretch was borderline criminal - as in let's not even try. WTF?

Hopefully LSU will play inspired for 40 minutes no matter what the score on Sat. against the #1 team in the Land. That's the lesson learned I got out of it anyway. Maybe take a charge or so, etc.

Is this something you read and it opened your eyes? I'm sure Jones would love to hear more from you. If they had played for only 39.95 minutes, they'd have lost. They played for 40. They won.

Up 13 with a minute left i understood giving them 2 point plays once they go in the lane and not fouling them allowing 3 point plays especially giving the way the refs were whistle happy. The defense should have been better from the half court line to the three point line to slow them down.

I think it's ridiculous that they can foul off the ball without repercussions while we're inbounding. It didn't allow us to take even a second off the clock. We certainly should've been making the free throws though. The Georgia called timeout technical was BS as well. One free throw for LSU and then Georgia is allowed the time and get the ball back. That is hardly advantageous to the recipient.

I believe in the NBA under 2 minutes and the team gets a free throw and the ball. I also think that personal fouls to stop the clock should not be allowed. They are intentional fouls so they should be free throws and the ball.

It is the rule and they enforced it correctly. Hornsby has to make the free throw. It should be 2 free throws or one and the ball.

Finding new ways to win? Since when is zero offensive sets and then blowing a double digit lead in 90 seconds finding a way to win.

Frickin morans man.
