Guess old Nicky, over the years, forgot about the power and the magic of Tiger Stadium...........he was reminded Saturday.

So last night in a little Nicky tirade (using profanity) he challenged the Gumps to get off their hands this Saturday night and make BD "what it should be and what it ought to be".

Nice try Nicky..........there's only one Tiger Stadium.

Nice video. I never saw him do that at LSU on the radio show with Hawthorne I love it when a coach is REAL and tells it like it is because thats the type of person and Coach that I am as well. I love it regardless of who it is saying it.

Here in Daphne Alabama, next to Mobile, in the paper today (mobile press register) it talks about how they are going to expand Bryant Denny to over 101,000.

Yeah, I read that too. If is pretty much a sealed deal as far as their expansion. Anybody heard anything about expanding Tiger Stadium? At least once a month there is a thread about it. I thought at one point they were gonna expand TS to 100,000.

Apparently, Alleva is dead set against it. At least until LSU proves it can practically sell out every game, and not just the marquee matchups with Auburn, UGA, Bama, etc. Personally, I agree with him. Use the money to make improvements to the stadium, wait a few years, and then see. LSU is finally getting a new video board next season, and I'm assuming the PA system will be upgraded as well. There are lots of other areas that need work...the concourses need painting, the bathrooms need renovating, the exterior needs a major spruce up, etc.

I believe I read a thread here talking about a hotel where the old dorms are in Tiger Stadium. I would drop some cash to do that once!

The glass will replaced this offseason around the stadium.

As far as Gump Stadium goes, that may not happen due to finacial reasons and the board of trustees may not approve it.
