berms are stupid anyway.

One side should have a berm. I hate to admit it but the atmosphere at Ole Miss in the outfield trumps LSU. Let the students party in the berm and harass the outfielders. Would make for a louder Alex box. Allow ice chests.

LSU pulled an Alleva on the Box and went cheap. They should have chair back seating all the way down to the foul poles.

What ever happened to the Athlete's Nutrician Center that was supposed to be built in South Stadium?

No... they'd all leave before the 6th inning anyway.

Anything this administration touches turn to crap.
LSU Athletic Venues have become wretched excess AD covered eyesores.

Still can't stomach looking at those FEMA trailer abominations on top of the South EZ. Put more seats in front of that or erect some kind of Arched Facade to hide them from view.

Hey, what about 100% Purple or 100% Gold seats in the Box AND a solid "Batters Eye", instead of that incredibly tacky Wal-Mart tarp. (Can't believe Mainieri allows that)

Maybe, maybe not...

LSU continues to examine the possibility of having its athletic nutrition center included in the scheduled expansion to the football operations building.

The nutrition center, an athlete-only, glorified dining hall, would be one of several additions to the operations facility during a facelift of the 12-year-old building that could begin as early as after this football season. The team’s locker room, training room and second-floor coaches’ offices are scheduled to be expanded and renovated. Officials are studying whether a nutrition center can be added to the building, too.

The “biggest concern” for administrators is the logistics of relocating the coaches and players during renovations, Nunez said. Construction on a standalone, 22,500-square foot center on Skip Bertman Drive was scheduled to begin last April. Those plans were scrapped last summer amid proposed state budget cuts.

Officials then planned to house the center in a vacant floor of the south end zone addition to Tiger Stadium. That is still a possibility, Nunez said. LSU has raised at least $12 million for the project, the original cost of the standalone structure.

I'm thinking that all that construction in the Fieldhouse is for temporary housing of the Football team...

LOL, I remember the "engineer" on the rant saying the South Side to Tiger Stadium could never be expanded to support a upper deck similar to the east and west side. And that it would extend all the way into South Stadium and the "IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN".

I thought it was the north end that someone said that about, because the PMAC is too close.
