I didt actually go into the room. I was walking through the Stadium where the windows are and one was broken. I stuck my Camera in and snapped a shot

No I didn't. But that was not the only picture I was talking about. The stadium just looks old. Not saying that is bad. Just looks older than I thought and wondered when it was built.

First game was in 1924. The football stadium opened on the new (present) campus while classes were still being held on the old campus.

My uncle actually lived in those dorms. He said that they were absolutely horrible.

Oh I was talking to coonass, but it was built back in the days of Huey P. Long. The state wouldn't allow a stadium on campus, so Huey said that he wanted dorms to be built in an oval shape with a large field in the middle. Long story short.

The details of the story get confused often, but I think there was some legal need to pair new dorm construction with the existing stadium in order to be eligible for federal funding.

it wasnt just unlocked, It was wide open. There were a few people in there working. No one said anything but there were signs all over that said No public admittance and that TS is under 24 hr surveliance. I figured id Just play dumb. I didnt go out onto the field though. There were signs all over to stay off of the turf. It was also covered with a tarp. If it wasnt, I prob would have went on it also lol. I was more worried about getting locked in then getting caught lol

Tell you what, looking at those pictures makes me realize how much I take the awesomness of that stadium for granted when I walk past it everyday.

My buddy and i were throwing passes to eachother on the field at about 3am after a Fred's night a couple of years back. We were out there for a good half an hour at least.

He is a firefighter in Waxahachie Texas and had never seen anything like that stadium before. We went to the game the next day - pretty cool.

it use to always be open back prior to 03. I remember walking in and watching them install sod when I was real young. I even took a special Lady Friend in there for a little "night punting" back before the 03 season

Every time I walk into that stadium for game day I forget to breath for a few seconds. Seeing how massive it is, feeling the anticipation, seeing the fans, music. It's just......I love being a Tiger fan.

Just the other day, I just happened to drive by this stadium, and IMO I just don't see how on earth that place will be ready for the opening game
