Fireworks are for wimps!
I want a flyover with napalm and willie peter (white phosphorous) dropped at midfield. And all the security people can pop flash-bang grenades 30 seconds after the flyby.
That, my friends, is a pre-game display worthy of my Tigers.
PS: leave the fire crackers for the little kids on the 4th where they belong – not in Tiger Stadium

I don't really care for the fireworks. However, I do like the flyovers for special games.

I would love to see Jet flyovers for big games also.

Stupid idea. And while I'm at it, don't you think it's about time we move on to a theme song that is not a very dated, washed up, pop forty song from the 80's? Eye of the Tiger is frankly getting silly and annoying.

It gets old to hear this "this isn't the NFL" bullshite. We get it, guys. I get tradition, but a few sparklers isn't going to hurt anyone or kill any tradition.

I agree with this. And while they're at it, throw out "Callin BR" and "La Saturday Night". These songs ruin the pregame festivities for me. In fact, I get tired of hearing Eye of the Tiger at every LSU sporting event I go to. Football, basketball, baseball and even gymnastics - if you take your family to a gymnastics meet you will see they play that song to death.
Surely someone at LSU can come up with something new, better, creative, entertaining. Then again, LSU fans can't agree on anything so nevermind.

My my sonnyboy. What a snappy response. You should try out for American Idol. Then we could all laugh at you. We were talking about the stupid bullshite that detracts from the LSU experience, not uniforms.
If you like fireworks and piped in music go to an NFL game or an NBA game. There the game always seems to take second chair to the other bullshite.
