Looking at the renderings of construction compared to the actual photo taken from field level, why is there a goal post structure on the east side and on the west side it looks like construction of luxury boxes? I know they are putting videos boards in the corners but it doesn't look symmetrical. Maybe the picture is misleading to my eyes.
Just guessing, but I assume it's because the left side has the elevators and stuff that were being worked on while the right side did not allowing it to have the supports for the scoreboard put in place first.

something has changed. the SW corner is different. if it did= more seats.

never put anything past lsu. in this rendering the framework for windows is up but it sure doesnt look like there are actual windows there. its just a picture...but its also lsu.
basically i'll believe they're putting windows there when i see them installing them.
you've gotta be kidding
Posted on 4/9/14 at 11:17 am to bbap
you're right...i'm sure you're not
Posted on 4/9/14 at 11:19 am to Choctaw
im definitely not kidding. dont get me wrong im sure they will put windows there but the point is lsu hasnt earned the benefit of the doubt to do the obvious based on their past construction flubs.
you are actually arguing that point?

i'm arguing that it actually crossed your mind that they would frame out dozens of windows...but not actually put in windows.
Posted on 4/9/14 at 11:22 am to Choctaw
just in the section where its already bricked in.
and yes it crossed my mind. if it didnt yours then you havent followed lsu stadium expansion projects.

I don't get the drive thru up top joke. Did I miss something?
Posted on 4/9/14 at 11:45 am to oreeg
it may have no been in this update but in one of the prior ones there was a pic of one of the cinderblock buildings with just a singular window on the side.

Just your typical rantard trying to shite all over a construction update thread. It happens every week.

Yep. I think this was the picture the joke came from.
Posted on 4/9/14 at 12:56 pm to bbap
Anyone have any theories as to what that window is for?
Posted on 4/9/14 at 12:58 pm to BamaHater
The SW corner looks differently than the SE due to the fact that behind the SW corner screen is going to be nothing but utilities.

is access to this deck be elevator only? any ramps? I am assuming elevator. anybody know how many? Just curious what kind of time it will take to get 9,000 people down 2-3 elevators after a close game.
Posted on 4/9/14 at 3:08 pm to Helmethead
you can see stairs in the pictures. i dont know about ramps.

There will be ramps leading up to the top inside the glass structure.
To the right in this image.
