They will probably be working right up to the first home game September 6th.

Weren't a couple of sections not even open on the West Upper for the Monday night game against Tennessee in 05?

I have a feeling we'll be par for the course.

That was for the North Texas season opening game that ended up being postponed. By the time the Tennessee game came around (about 3 weeks later) all sections were open. But, that was a very, very ambitious tear down, rebuld between two football seasons.

As far as the current construction, they only have to go up one more level (as seen on the southeast side) and they will have topped out all seating areas for the expansion.

My brain hurt when I read that comment.

Here's what the SEZ expansion looked like one year ago:

I prefer the overall views to get a better idea of progress.

I can only tell so much from views like...

...except that, yep, it's concrete.

Whoa! That sure looks like a lot more than 7 months worth of work remaining

Yet, they were able to take down the entire west upper deck and rebuild it between football seasons. So I think this project will be ready before next season. Maybe not all the bells and whistles for the first game though. Our fans just like to worry for no reason.

It will get done in time. They might have to (and likely will) have 200 guys out there working around the clock in the days leading up to the home opener, but it will get done.

You've obviously never worked construction. The hardest parts have already been finished for a while.

They actually look ahead of schedule to me.

Everything will be all right in the end. If it's not all right then it's not yet the end.

I didn't know they were making improvements to the tigers gameday lockeroom. First update I've seen of it is in this round of pictures.

Interesting because I always read that Lsu's gameday lockeroom rivaled a lot of NFL teams.

But hey there's always room for improvement

Eta just saw the thread at the bottom of the rant about this

Exactly. We sell materials to many of the contractors working on this project and talk to them frequently. There is a HUGE penalty for Lemoine/B&G if the expansion isn't finished by game 1, 2014. During football season, they had to knock off early on Friday because the area around the construction zone had to be completely clean for game weekends. And, they weren't allowed to start early on Sundays, either. Once the last home game was over, they went to 24/7 with many more people. As was said before, all bells and whistles may not be present, but it will definitely be useable space.
