It's going to be a nightmare getting to my gate this year.

It would be great if they could get the supports for the south endzone up high enough to see from field level. That would be awesome to see on tv!

What I fervently hope is that they find a way to add 500 seats to make the capacity an even 100k.

Even better, if they could just build some additional rows at the top to increase the capacity to 1 more than The POS Toilet Seat Stadium 2 states over.

It will be ready in time based on current progress. However, if it is going to look like the drawings then I don't like it. It doesn't blend well at all and looks like it's just something stuck in a spot to fill a void. It doesn't match anything on either side.

Unless a tornado or hurricane damages it while under construction (which let's hope that doesn't happen), it will be ready this time next year. They're working every single day and are making progress. Most of the progress is being done where most people can't see. It's the stuff that has to be done before doing the visible things. Trust me, shite's getting done at a rate faster than any of you would imagine.

I spend a lot of time around the North construction on gameday, really like what they're doing with it.

I also saw some work being done on the walkway by the tiger statue on the West side. Anyone know what that is for?

Their adding some of those walls for all americans, and plague "holders" for sec championship teams. Similar to what they have directly in front of the West entrance.

Im afraid the tree in teh 6th pic looks like its history. I'd hate to see so many of these trees bite the dust.

The North endzone looks kind of weird to me.. They have the red bricks in front of the gates and the Locker room but in between the Gates and the locker rooms it rotates from black to white bricks..

In the front of the stadium they do the same thing but it just is black bricks in between gates no white.

Just seems a bit odd.

maybe the red bricks indicate an entrance point or gate. don't know what the west looks like in comparison
