Alexander admitted that his inability to handle political perceptions prevented him from making a decision deemed to be in the best interest of a LSU football program that has been a major money maker for the university for years.
Alleva failed to manage the entire process of a job search deemed to be in the best interest of said football program which lead to a widespread, national denouncement of LSU from the media, contributing to the very political pressures mentioned above.
They both fricked up and they should both pay for those mistakes. But I guess Alexander bears slightly more blame being at the top of the totem pole, so he should probably go quicker.
