Roy is staying..He never got a notice in the first place.
We find out who the new director is this week and every is making up their own story about Dr. Moorehouse so there are many different 'versions' out there and no one knows which one is the truth.

We know absolutely nothing at this point honestly.
Cut numbers in preseason differ from year to year so its really up for grabs. From our understanding, theyre not actually cutting nummbers in TB to make it smaller, theyre just scared that the ability to retain members from year to year will decrease.

Theres a NEW director coming to the staff. That doesnt mean shes leaving. Mr. Wickes is retiring so some one is needed to fill his spot.

And it's fun, and the crowd, especially the students are really into it. When the band stops playing and the students keep singing, I think it is very cool.
And "don't care if we make it or not" is a line in a song. I dont' think the team and the fans are deflated and defeated because of this.

It started a few years ago when they played it in halftime for homecoming and folks spontaneously started singing it
after that, they started to incorportate a lot of newer songs

Heard a rumor (so take it for what it's worth) that some guy from Tennessee is replacing Mr. Wickes and Dr. Moorehouse is keeping her current position. Just a rumor though

Really? Keep us posted on this.
I'll have to share with y'all about Mr. Wickes when I was in Tiger Band. He was great. Some of the afternoon practices are legendary, such as the JUMAS "Steam Heat" NO!!! Practice. I still laugh outloud to this day about that one.
