What do you think the prices will be if LSU plays Bama and if LSU plays Okie St? Just curious. I would guess the prices vs bama would be higher.
TIA
TIA

Bama = my guess is $750 terrace, $2500 club, $3k+ terrace per ticket

Second hand market...I don't think it will matter too much who plays.

Regardless LSU will drive the market, because it is reduced cost for them to attend the game I.e. no long trip, no taking off work, and in many cases no hotel room. This will drive the price higher than normal.
The face value on the tickets is about 300. And we already know that a chance at a ticket is running at a out 450.
I see the tickets being 900 for bad 1750 for good, 2250 for great and 3500 for box seats. Law of deminishing marginal returns will play into this as in every game. I also predict that the supply of tickets will be larger than in last years. Also if it is an LSU Bama rematch the price will also drop. Part of the suspense is out of the game.

I was curious too as I have reserves for both LSU and Ok. St. Looking at Stubhub, the lowest priced tickets in Terrace, Plaza, and Club were:
Terrace: $1278
Plaza: $1675
Club: $2500
Not sure if people are actually paying those prices right now, but if so reserves definitly have room to go up if LSU and Ok. St. win out.

I remember in 2003 many LSU fans spending huge amounts to go to the CG claiming it was a once in a lifetime opportunity so why not..

Maybe Terrace is a bit undervalued for average, but you will be able to buy tickets under $1000 in the terrace all day. All I care about is the cheapest ticket I can get in the Terrace not the average.

I got my right to reserve a BCS ticket IF LSU makes it for $165 before the Bama game....Will have to pay face value (Terrace) $300.
$300
+$165
$465
Sooo...mine cost me $465
$300

It is supply and demand, The supply of tickets is altered because of the preexisting game versus bama. People already shelled out a ton of money to see the bama game, so seeing a rematch will cause tickets to drop. I am not saying you will be able to pick them up cheap, but you will be able to get them cheaper than you could get them if it was Ok. St. Also the fact that Bama was in the MNC only 3 years ago takes away from some fans paying big money for the game. The novelty of the OK state game to their fanbase will bring in a higher ticket cost.
What Bama has going against it:
In NC only 2 years ago
Already seen this game this year at home.
They lost the first time, (I know some Bama fans will believe they were the better team, but the more rational fans will say I know losing is a possibility and I do not want to see it again.)
What OK. State has going for it:
A much larger unknown on the outcome of the game.
A team that hasn't had a big game in a long time.
Miles vs. Miles is kinda cool too.
