I have to commend Les Miles (or whoever maintains the creative content of his website) for utilizing some authentic rap and hip hop in the featured highlight videos. In an age of conservative political correctness, some coaches might be fearful of that tactic.

Also, in all of the jubilation over Spencer Ware's Cotton Bowl performance, I forgot he threw the brilliant halfback pass against AU.

That is good stuff. I love Ford's and Ware's running styles and I had forgotten just how good Mathieu's ball skills are. I remembered the hits and the chaos he created, but he is a ball hawk, too.

Any other team in the nation have a freshman highlight reel that long?

Mathieu will go down as one of the top 10 players in LSU history when all is said and done. With his measurables as it relates to the NFL draft, he is likely a 4 year guy so he will be able to pad the stats.

Whenever I post from my phone that happens often
Apparently my thumb is too big to press the space without a period.

NFL doesn't mind short guys if they can play ball.

I think Ware and Ford will both be top 4 or 5 backs in the SEC by their JR seasons, but it only takes 1 glimpse of Ware to see that he may be the best RB in the SEC next season.

Kid is loaded with talent.
