I would love to have a QB like him. Impressed me with less talent when he played us and is looking good vs Clemson. Probably better than every qb we've had since 07. How can little schools get better qb's than a team that's been in 3 title games in the 2000's

Sometimes recruiting rankings aren't accurate.

Guys like him are diamonds in the rough, sometimes you get lucky and get one.

We tried on guys like him...RP11 in 2007, was removed from team the following year.
JJ9 was mobile, wasn’t utilized correctly and wasn’t as talented as previously thought. RS10 was a very talented HS QB who was also extremely mobile...was moved to WR.

Less talent over the past few years sure, but what about Ishmael this year? 56 catches for 729 yards?

Plus that's not including tonight. I see your point though. If LSU had a dungey, they would be top 10 easily

Yeah but colleges all over the country keep getting average HS QB prospects and develop them in good players. We get highly recruited ones and do nothing. Very frustrating. #Sad

We’ve had horrible QB coaching and development over the years.

He's a piece of shite that was upset his first throw against us was a pick and decided to nearly break Greedy's neck. How on Earth that wasn't a flag I'll never know.

This sums it up. When you have idiots in charge of recruiting and training QBs....shite like what we've seen at QB the last several years happens. You would think we would just LUCK OUT one time and get somebody good on their own.

Mettenberger was pretty good.

Jarrett Lee would have been a great QB possibly if he hadn't had to play as a RS FR and throw so many ints.

I have no explanation for offering Chris Garrett, Hayden Rettig, and Anthony Jennings.

BHarris just doesn't have it bwtaeen the ears, but Urban and Malzahn wanted him bad. Their offenses are simplified to the point of QBs taken completely out of decision making. He thought Cameron would have prepared him best for the NFL.

He is playing at a very high level. I don't know his history but I think he's a senior and Syracuse's offense revolves around him.

Point being, there were probably some growing pains that Syracuse was willing to tolerate to get to where they're at now that we aren't willing to.
