I had high expectations for him coming out of high school. To me, he doesn’t look like a 5 star DB flying around. Hope he can figure things out and become an impact player.

He's as lost as I said he was back in spring. He has no business being on the field but is forced to due to depth.

Speak volumes at the lack of depth at DB. Now you see why LSU is loading up in recruiting on S and nickels. Don't be surprised to see more transfer there after this season.

He is definitely not playing like a 5 star

It wasn't the busted coverage for me, that happens, especially with a new safety back there. The disappointing part was his lack of any competitive tackle attempt after the catch. He basically got dragged into the end zone.

Have no idea what he was thinking on the TD. His teammates had Ashford pretty well contained; don’t trigger until he crosses the LOS.

I think he’s going to come around. He’s played in 3 different defensive systems in 3 seasons. For a young player it may be a hard transition. But I do think he will figure it out.

That Pass Interference against him was an Awful call.

He has struggled…he is still very inexperienced. Hopefully it starts to click for him.

He is only in his second year and at least he is getting playing time and has been good except that one play. I would be more worried about the other high 4 star/ low 5 star safety from Pennsylvania who will never be athletic enough to see playing time here. This is coming from people in the know.

Some of y’all LSU fans are weirdos. The kid is doing fine, first time getting meaningful reps under a legit DC as a true sophomore. He’s going to mess up and grow from it.

He is playing out of position. He needs to move to LB.

He certainly hasn’t lived up to the billing so far.

For everyone good play he makes he follows it up with too bad place. Disappointed in his progress.

He doesn't pop athletically like Perkins or even Hilton that shows elite speed on occasion. I don't see anything thats gonna make him anything but average.

Besides that one play this weekend, he has been a solid player. The pass interference was a terrible call. His coverage on the receiver was terrific. You people claiming “he has not lived up to his 5-star status” based on this one game are being absolutely ridiculous.

So far he’s got a case of Todd Harrisitis. He needs to see the doc, get a shot and get his butt in gear.

He's definitely better as a DB than you are at the English language.

He is too small to play safety and you want him to play LB. Truth is he was the best athlete on the field in high school (1A/2A ball) and now that everyone is just as fast and athletic he is average at best.
