Played last year around 6'4 270... Figuring he's already a beast if he can get to around 295 he could be perfect in Steeles scheme.
Thoughts? If he leaves at 310 he'll be drafted rather high imo (True Soph)

Saw some pics of him on 247 at the recent camp. Dude is filled out to the max. No bad weight either it looked like.

He's a first round talent. Coach O will turn him into a Leonard Williams type.

Davon surely could be a first round NFL pick in a few seasons.
Another impressive thing about him is that he suffered a pretty bad injury and missed much of his senior season in high school, but then was very durable last season, played every game, and because the DT depth was not as good as many thought it would be, wound up playing a much larger percentage of defensive plays than most would have projected.

Ed loves Davon. He said he could be all SEC this year.

I agree that he played at 270 last year. He might've been 290 in fall camp but he shed it fast. He's an explosive bull on that line with sound fundamentals who will be made into a first round pick. He's the prototypical 4-3 defensive tackle.
A lot of people sleep on LaCouture when he has just as much potential as Godxhaux. They have very similar builds and they're best friends on and off the field.

I thought he started fall camp last year at 255? Impressive transformation. Definitely a future 1st rd pick if he continues his current level of development.

They don't really update the listings frequently. I read on a few different places that he was 285+. Could be wrong too, but I remember someone who knew him well is a poster on here.

I don't think he'll be that big.

No way, that would make him as good as Brockers was and the rant made it clear that there is no way he could be that good.

Orgeron likes his linemen lean and quick off the ball. I doubt he gets over 300 lbs

He's already listed at 298 lbs. #57 Davon Godchaux BIO
