Agreed...there is really no one that I would rather see lead our team than Les. Unfortunately, football is a spectator sport and where entertainment is concerned, people get bored pretty quickly. Even good coaches get replaced pretty often just due to fan boredom. Les understands the "game" a lot better than we would think.

I'll be celebrating when he gets fired. I love LSU football and know the juggernaut Saban built with facilities and expectations.

If Miles had never come to LSU, very few would even know his name. We won in spite of him, but make no doubt he's a disaster of a coach.

It makes me sad as well.

The things that I like about Miles - I REALLY like.

But, the things that I don't like...

I wish that he would recruit, inspire, lead and get the kids fired up to play and then LET HIS COACHES COACH.

I wish we could go back and give Jarret Lee a chance in the second half and fix all of the things that are obvious to even casual fans.

But we cannot go back and Les' good traits are no longer enough to sustain this program in the manner that it deserves to be and should be with the current roster of players and potential players in the State.

Maybe we are going to do the right thing. Maybe we honor him. Sounds like their last few days he really wants to be here. Maybe there is a place within TAF or the department. Les is total class and while I agree a change is necessary I do hope there is a way that we do it right. What that is I don't know but let's not count out our team to do it right. We got some good folks dealing with this also and I have never heard any of them say they want to hurt Les .

He's rich and had a good run. Good guy but time to move on. I'm sure he understands. This is his chosen profession and this is how it works.

I agree.

I'm not gonna cry, but I'm not gonna say anymore negative shite about the man or his time here.

It's a done deal. He's gone and I wish him and his family well.

I hope he gets another HC job somewhere or just do whatever he wants to do for the rest of his life. I wish him and his family much happiness.

I don't want a coach to commit a crime or do something idiotic like Petrino.

But as far as being a "better man"?

I don't give a shite. I want him football games and win championships.

If he does that, I don't care what kind of a-hole he is.

I'm not going to be hanging out with him.

Seriously Red, everyone is aware that the last few years haven't gone like we would have liked, but Miles has had a good 11 year run at LSU and has run a pretty clean program, he's had decent graduation numbers with his players and has been a good ambassador for the university.

I get that a lot of people are frustrated and angry, but damn, it's amazing to see all the hate being directed toward the man. Just my opinion, I know you could care less.
