He will hit again. He's too talented and too good of a leader and competitor not to.

If any team relies that much on one person then the season is already lost.

0-18 means he's due as well.

I wonder about the leader part. He has to wear different shoes than the rest of the team. It's like he is his own team. Can't help Smith out the stands when he knocked him in them.

Actually, LSU wins when the team hits. They won 1 game with 6 hits, the rest were 8 or more. Four times we won with 11 hits. Not on one player.

Kramer is and always has been overrated. He had some clutch hits last year but he is average at best.

Hey Kim Mulkey is his mom. So he must be a star.

If anybody really believes this kid is in the same league with our last 4 shortstops, you are nuts.

Tell me how I am wrong?

How does he stack up....

Brandon Larson, Austin Nola,

DJ Lemahieu, Aaron Hill,

Alex Bregman, Ryan Theriot

How is he overrated? Do tell.

He makes insane plays. He doesn't have LeMahieu's height or Bregman's strength but to call him overrated is really reaching.

Is it because he doesn't hit a HR at every at bat? I honestly can't see how you can call him overrated.

Ok, maybe overrated was over the top. I feel like we make these guys bigger and better then they are. He isn't a bad player but a stud he is not.

Defensively, he's right there with all the guys you listed, even ahead of a couple of them. His bat has improved tremendously since he's gotten to campus, and is getting better. We probably won't see him hit his ceiling at Alex Box, he will continue to improve once he moves on. Calling him overrated was off base, and you owned up to that.
