Do I have a choice? Umm, I am saying I'll take it if LSU doesn't "back into it" by the skin of their teeth or bumble into it by sheer luck. I'll take it if LSU plays like LSU and leaves it all out on the field every single game. I'll take it if LSU wins every game LSU is supposed to win, and maybe one or two that would be in question. If LSU slops up the field again this year on O or D or some combination of the two, I'll have a hard time being happy. But will I take it? Again, do I have a choice? It will be what it will be.

If Bama's one loss was to us, that would make it easier. But, in the end, we can't worry about what other schools do. 10-2 in the regular season and a BCS bowl win to finish 11-2, and almost certainly in the top 5, would represent a huge improvement over the last two years and would have to be considered a good season.

Would I take it now, rather than take our chances? I don't think so, even though I think we'll actually do much worse than that. I just can't bring myself to concede all championships (SEC West, overall and National) before the season even starts.

Why not take the money. Since you think we'll be 6-5 and losing in Indy Bowl. You started strong and then finished with your usual sour note.
