if bama told us they werent throwing a pass, we'd bring our safeties into the the box and bama wouldnt have a prayer.
You have to keep in mind that we match up *pretty well* along the d line compared to bama's o-line. This isn't the bama of 2012 where they roll out guy like fluker, barrett, cyrus, etc...
they cant just line up and blow you off the ball anymore...and certainly wont be able to blow us off the ball.

another matchup problem for bama....who the heck is going to guard chark? They have already said they arent going to put fitz in man to man, so thats out....maybe they can have him hover deep guarding the post against chark, but still....they have no corner who can stay with chark one on one? You think averett is going to be able to hang? lmfao.....

Let me ask you this, who is going to guard Etling? Because the entire OL has struggled protecting him all season. That's not a shot at the players, it's the truth. The finger points to the OL coach, Grimes.
Guarding Chark means nothing if Etling can't even get the pass off.

Airchair quarterbacks are coming out of the woodwork to blast coach O, and not one of them has ever directed a football team, or paced the sidelines w/ headphones, or argued w/ an official, or rebuked an assistant coach. Not one.

our d line did not play that badly against troy...take away that 80 yard breakaway(where there were two broken tackles and our line didnt get beat that bad) and they averaged less than 3 yards per carry on true rushing plays....
and that was a veteran offensive line. Bama doesnt have the same experience on their oline.

Have you watched any football this year?
1. Bama has been lining up and blowing people off the ball.
2. Or DLine just got blown up by Troy to the tune of 191 and over 6 yards a carry by some guy named Chunn.
3. Chark isn't exactly blowing people up every play. He had 2 catches for 30 yards VS Syracuse.

protecting etling is actually not that much of a concern against bama because bama is near the bottom of the sec in pass rush. There is no tim williams on this bama team coming off the edge...thats not who they are. As i said, we match up very well with bama this year. You'll see

I was talking about bama because that is the team I most want to beat and I know thats how so many of us feel as well.
I have confidence against florida and the barn too but those victories arent as sweet.
