I don't understand why this argument has to be black and white, all or nothing, absolute. There is a gray area to the argument as there is a gray area to life.

One can be a passionate, purple and gold blooded LSU alum/fan/lifelong BR resident, TAF member, goes to every single LSU sporting event there is -- fan that is justifiably angered and concerned right now. And this can occur without he/she being labeled a hater, or a negative person.

Pimp wants to call it being immature when it's quite the contrary. Maturity is having been an LSU fan during the terrible days of the 80's and 90's and the experience acquired from having been so. Immaturity is being naiive and having never experienced said terrible days - not knowing what is at stake here on the flip side of things. The technical term for it is ignorance but that is a term that has been misused in a more negative way so I'll stick with naiive. May I remind people that LSU was ranked and undefeated at one point of a lot of those seasons, and we've heard a lot of "this is just one game, it's going to turn around". A lot is an understatement. We've heard that almost every year during those days.

So that being said, forgive us for being just a tad bit cynical when we hear that talk this year. Especially when those teams I'm talking about actually had a better offense/defense than this year's team with maybe 1/5 of the athletic ability and star power.
