Keep in mind, LSU is a base running goof away from sweeping the #5 team with two of those wins being complete blowouts. This team may well run rule Arky twice. Turns out the team can hit a lil bit.

Yeah, but there are some worries with the bullpen and with Hurd.

Nothing to freak out over, as we can hit like nobody else, but it's a little shaky particularly on the back end.

Besides 2 bad outings from Little, where have we been bad out of the pen? I think we are trying to find the negatives

It's the immediate gratification generation bro. They need answers, results, and satisfaction NOW. If not, it's a "guaranteed" disaster.

frick you.

Our closer has gotten blown up in successive weekends. That's a problem for any team.

Now, Edwards us showing signs of being a bullpen ace, so that's good, but if he's our closer going forward we need a middle-inning shutdown guy and we don't have that right now.

With the expectations we have, these things matter.

And mind your goddamn manners next time.

That and people have the football mentality, the better team dominates the entire game and doesn’t lose.

Tards say they get sick of hearing “that’s baseball” because they don’t understand the game.

LSU is a good team. You can't get too excited about one game or too down about one game in baseball. A lot of people on this board are football fans who don't truly understand the game of baseball and are ill-equipped to handle the highs and lows of it.

we have a football fan base cheering for baseball. First instinct is to panic

Right...and they won't learn. LSU will be "middle of the pack in the SEC" again next week if they drop a single game against Tennessee.

This is what I’ve been saying. In football, one loss can be disastrous for your whole season.
In baseball, it’s a marathon. Teams are going to have off days, even LSU. But the football fan in folks just want to think we’re “exposed” as it was described yesterday.

Look no further than the moron fretting over the closer getting blown up in consecutive weekends. There’s 8 more weekends to go and he can pitch multiple games in a weekend. 2 games doesn’t tell you anything meaningful

We essentially had one really bad inning in 3 games verse a top 5 team. I’ll take it!

This is the rant

0/4 is a slump

2BB in an inning puts a guy at the end of the bench

A bloop single in a mercy rule game vs Butler’s 14th pitcher gets you a spot in the lineup
