I just recalled the lecture that Little Nickie gave us LSU fans many years ago. I think it applies very well right now. The catastrophe is working in slow motion this time and it started on 1-9-12. Since that horrible night, LSU fans have gone through this countless times. Our program has lost their MoJo and we as fans have become horrible.

Something has to change and I mean the entire culture of LSU football. We must move past this and relearn how be successful without constantly comparing ourselves to Alabama.

Our coaching staff also need to get their shite together. They are the most responsible for this situation. They need to do a better job or leave. either way is fine with me but, they need to have better results.

If we look bad against atm someone will be fired, Miles will tell us everything will be better next year and be searching for more horseshoes, rabbit feet, four leaf clovers or whatever else he shoves up his arse during the season

They beat the #1 team in the country yesterday, we had 120 yards total offense against a team that had not won a conf game in 17 tries. Sorry we cant hide from that.

Need a new coach that people can get behind.

Then the hunger will return.

Sorry. Little Nickie wasn't dealing with Les Milesisms. He was building a program, not unraveling one. Les is like a kitten with a ball of yarn. All twisted and knotted and that ball is getting looser and smaller all the time. Pretty soon all that's going to be left is strings. What began on 1/9 was that the lights started going on in more and more LSU fans' heads that this mess of a HC is tearing LSU down with his stubborn willfulness, and all the great OCs and DCs in the world won't be able to undo what he is doing. Not long as he is HC.

I agree we should stop comparing ourselves with Bama. It's depressing. Ark is our new measuring stick.

For all intent and purpose, they (Bama) beat LSU in two consecutive games because we let it happen.

The coaches have to own that.

The question is, how do they fix it?

When you get blown out by a team that hadn't beaten an SEC team since 2012, then you might be having a catastrophe.

When Arkansas shuts you out and you become the first ranked team they have shut out in school history, you might be having a catastrophe.

When VANDERBILT has a higher ranked passing offense that you, then you very well could be in the middle of a catastrophe.

If this is slow motion I hate to see it at full speed.

What does this even mean? This isn't like the USC crap from a few years back.

They are in our division. We are "compared" regardless of what fans do. Their success inherently means LSU's failure at some point, and vica versa.

All of your points are valid. How do we stop it and return our identity of a dominating football team for 60 minutes? Somewhere along the line, we lost that identity.

Maybe the explosion of Tigerdroppings.com over the past decade has made our fans worse

We shouldn't compare ourselves to BAMA. We should gameplan all year to BEAT BAMA because they compete with us for every major recruit in our state. We must beat them at all costs

The identity of the team starts with the head coach! That's a fact

Our head coach can't even explain in plain English why this shite hasn't been fixed already! How do you get behind that?

The D is fine position. We're missing a game changer in the return game with blazing speed (ditto on offense...though Dural is pretty fast ). We're going overboard with trying to impose our will. We don't take enough chances on offense and we don't mix up what we're doing at all. We let them know what is coming and dare the D to stop it. That's fine when it is working, but when it does not, we have no backup plan. Also, playing like that usually leaves little to no room for defensive errors and makes it hard for our talent on offense to shine. The QB development is very slow and seems to be partly related to our simple offense which is easy for defenses to figure out and it leaves us getting minimal gains (in yards and in QB confidence).

the pen of brook trout opened up 1 9 2012 and are swimming like mullets problem is they are being fed by run run run pass punt game plans, intermittent clock mgt bumbles, and a clear failure to avoid underachieving read option qb's that apparently don't improve over the season. say what you will about negatigers and how fortunate we are to have miles, but after 11 games, a bagel against Arkansas, who gives up over 20 a game, is a an indictment of the offensive talent and the coaching at the qb position. and while I'm at it, at center as well, where I counted 6 plays where 55 was the cause of a stop, fumble, sack, tackle, or penalty in the first quarter alone. he was getting burned in the u la mo game and it hasn't stopped. if he's that bad then it's on the coaches for being stuck with such sad options. if 10 is our best chance for victory, then dear lord please quit recruiting read option qbs who can't progress through their progressions during the year, pun intended. 7 is a sweep player and out the back field player, not a up the middle player and not a kick returner. try 34 up the middle and try 8 as a kr.
