Put down the pipe. Miles is known for not adapting, not making game adjustments, being hardheaded, etc...

Put down the pipe? That's what they used to tell Galileo.

The reason I asked "When?" is that there's a lot of things that "everyone" on the rant knows, but which is complete BS.

Everyone knew Honeybadger was a liability in coverage.
Everyone knew Eric Reid took bad angles.
Everyone knew Russell Shepard should be playing.

I see Miles as a coach who constantly adapts. In recent years he's adapted to the fact that he's had incompetent QBs. He's relied on a run-heavy offense except for Mett's years.

Last year they were close to 70% run. That's not where Miles wants to be, but he adapted to the talent, and that's where he was. I'll bet that in 2016 he's close to 60% run. If so, he will have adapted to his talent. Quite an adapter, that Miles.

I would add our tough schedule - rated #1 toughest.

If CLM straightens out and listens to his coaches

Interesting.

Am I to assume that you have been in multiple coaches meetings and have first hand knowledge as to what level Miles "listens" to his coaches?

I'd like to hear more about how many meetings you have attended and your experiences in them.

Thank you.

Of course I've never been to a coach's meeting, Mr. Strawman.

However, I've watched over 95% of CLM's games. My eyes don't fool me.

Finally no more "wait until next year "!!

I doubt it.

"Next year is LSU's year. Losing LF will hurt some but Guice will fill his shoes nicely. BH will have two years of experience as the starter under his belt. The defense will have had a full year of experience in Aranda's new system."

If LSU under performs this year, you can bank on it.

So you don't actually KNOW how often and to what extent Miles "listens" to his coaches.
Perhaps you have been privileged to listen in on the communications during the game? No?
I suspect not. In other words you have absolutely NO clue as to what the communication level between Milers and his staff is, right?

Ok

By watching you can some how deduce what is said without actually hearing it? Your eyes can hear?

Admit it you have no idea what the coaches say in meeting and/or games. I strongly suspect that there are a lot of things regarding the LSU football program that you are equally unaware.

Cautiously optimistic. The talent has been there before and Miles has refused to adapt. I will root for LSU but will be nowhere as invested as I was years past. Miles has simply burned me 1 too many times.

Coaching is a huge wild card. I never wanted to accept the fact that coaching was a liability until last Novemeber. That month did me in.

You will always have people with different opinions but I think a big part of the fan-base has the "boot-up or shut-up" mindset this year.

This thread is great, it is gathering all the mental midgets like timlan who literally know nothing about football all in one place.

I believe Miles has a capacity for adaptation, though one it is not wise to rush into headlong.

I think if we score more points then the team we're playing, we'll win most of our games.

Apply this to yourself.

You have absolutely no clue as to how the communications flow between Miles and his staff.
All you KNOW is that you don't approve of how the team is being run without having any insight as to how that happens. So don't pretend that you have some insight because you do not.
