My dad brought me to LSU games from the mid '60s to the mid '80s.

This year with Fournette and lots of upperclassman we stand a good chance of going all the way.

frick Bama, we will beat their inbred asses this year.

The three wildcards are coaching, injuries and QB play. If CLM straightens out and listens to his coaches and we get a minimum of injuries, we will play and win the NC game.

Cautiously optimistic. The talent has been there before and Miles has refused to adapt. I will root for LSU but will be nowhere as invested as I was years past. Miles has simply burned me 1 too many times.

We are on the same page. Especially with Miles.

I'm with you guys. If I had the SLIGHTEST bit of confidence in that goofball we have as a coach, I'd be way more optimistic.

Thought this would be a positive thread. But it seems more about negatives about Miles.

I also think we put it together for a championship season.

I agree w talent "this" year. It's about as good as we have had in recent memory. Having a lot of NFL-bound upper classmen stay for another year is MAJOR. Let's hope and pray Miles doesn't screw this up. Looking for Harris to lead the way with his confidence, experience, and talent. Got to be more than just run first oriented on offense. Having young and talented/innovative defensive coordinator is another key to success. Special teams need to be "special" again. We'll see. Geaux Tigers!

Please Les, If Harris doesn't get the job done, pull him. I'm not hating on Harris at all.

So, how is this different than just about any other year under Miles? Defense will be back to 2014 levels, offense will look good against non-conference opponents and clam up when we hit the meat of our schedule. The best predictor of future action is the past.

Wait, so you're telling me if we don't win the SEC this year it's a busted season? Finally, have we all come to the point where it's put up or shut up? Because I have been waiting on this moment since 2012. And I'm not even joking. I am getting tired of hearing "next year".

It's funny how in the present if you express any sentiment similar to the board's back in November/December, you suddenly get crucified.

This board is bipolar as frick

Put down the pipe. Miles is known for not adapting, not making game adjustments, being hardheaded, etc...

A green one for you.

Does your first name begin with an "S"? Did you go to Jesuit?

All of us, whether we admit it or not, have seen what CLM can do with a team (good AND bad). Even though we are stacked with talent and they've made potentially great coaching changes, I'm still in the cautiously optimistic crowd as well.

Could turn into a great year.

I think it's come to that.
