That was the intention of Florida and with the current track and timing, it would be asinine to try and play a football game at that time.

This game will be canceled. This jockying and stalling is exactly what Ole Yella Teeth wants.

If we do end up playing, I hope Oeaux runs up the score and then punches Mackelwain in the face

They have no incentive to play. A win does them no good, Tenn still has to lose twice...but a loss eliminates them essentially. They are underdogs in the game. Do the math.

Theres basically a 50/50 shot that the resources will be available to play the game and that the effects of the hurricane wont cause a clusterfrick.

So theres a decent chance that all will be fine and then gator fans will be saying "i told you so!" So I guess im hoping they can gloat

Me too, can you imagine the sweet melt of their fans when we go in there- to a half empty stadium and wax their asses? It will be glorious. Most of their fans are going to be at home taking care of their storm damaged property.....eating MRE's if they can get their hands on them. AND Coach O is going to make their team quit.

This thinking that Florida wants the game cancelled is total bullshite. They want it played just as bad as LSU, win or lose. Flip the scenario and I guarantee you would want LSU to do everything it could to keep the game in BR.

My understanding is Fla St is still scheduled to play Miami in Miami Saturday night. If that's still the case then I don't see this game getting cancelled.

There is no way they play the game in Florida. Canceled or moved would be the only sensable options IMO.

They could go a little further west and borrow Fla St's facilities in Tallahassee. If they are still playing in Miami then that would allow Florida to have what would still amount to a home game but out of the reach of the storm.

Well to be fair, Miami isn't really in the path although they will get rain and tropical winds. Plus that thing will be in Georgia by Saturday morning. But I don't see how Gainesville is out of the clear yet.

I tend to agree FL would like this game cancelled/postponed to when they are healthier. (whole D line is out)

So why meet? Why not just issue a statement?
