I cant wait for the florida, alabama, arkansas, and texas a&m games to define him too

One game won't define a coach.
But this season may give some indication of what kind of coach he's gonna be for the rest of his career here.
Does he make adjustments/changes necessary to the offense to help these youngsters become more successful?
He already went out of his comfort zone by making Harris the starter. That wasn't his ideal plan, but he made the change.
But this game will not define him at all.

here we go again uh huh and he should have 9 more wins to add to that but he doesn't because of the multiple coaching flaws that have been laid our here plenty times. Probably should have more championships also. only 1 west title in 7 years after this year. that's underachieving with the talent and facilities and money he is being paid.
You are right...here you go again. More negative, silly, childish BS knocking a HC cause although his record is the best EVER in terms of success, it's not good enough for some.
3 out right West titles since 05 is not bettered by any West school. 2 SEC titles is not bettered by any West school. 8 of 9 yrs NR is not bettered by any SEC school. 7 of 9 yrs with 10 wins is not bettered by any SEC school. Undefeated in regular season OOC games since 05 is not bettered in the SEC. And on and on.
If all you got is, "Probably should have more championships" or a few more wins, you don't have shite. But carry on with the "poor me how I have suffered during the greatest, continual period of success in LSU history".

Simple answer, Les is a great recruiter but poor game day coach. I like Les but like the Bible says Ye shall know the truth!

Les has two National Championship Game appearances that will always define him more than any other game.
The fan base will be divided on which one matters more until he appears in another.

Body of work - he's way beyond a defining game

Already defined career. Above average coach and recruiter reaping rewards from the foundation laid by a legend that now dominates in T-town. And that's all he will ever be. Our coach doesn't threaten anyone. worth a shite like Saban. Above average but no where close to great.

Good lord. You can't be this stupid.
What about all the other coaches at programs that have failed miserably after following a "legend"?
You think Les just rolls out of bed at noon, saunters over to the football facility, waves a magic wand and we win ~10 games/year over the last 10 years?

Jeez, 1 loss and you would think LSU is facing its imminent death according to the rantards.
I'm by no means a sunshine pumper, but I was expecting to lose 4-5 games this season. Hardly any coach could do better than that with so many freshmen.

Seriously, you should be banned. How old are you?
LSU may win, they may lose....but they are on the road in a very hostile environment, and you post that THIS game will define LES......you are a pathetic piece of shite and I hope someone whips your arse today "just" for the fun of it.

How many times have you been banned on here? Seriously? You are one pathetic poster that no one, and I mean NO ONE respects on this site. You yourself define yourself as a fat slob, and then you expect others to pay you respect.

This game, win or lose, has zero to do with defining Les Miles as LSU HC. He has already defined himself as a winner at LSU.
This season, with so many inexperienced players, is a struggle for us especially in a year of so much power in the SECW. But we will be fine.
