les miles, in his 10th year as HC at LSU has been defined as a coach already. he usually game plans uber conservatively but has been known to air it out on occasion. he likes to run the ball from power formations and he rarely gets blown out. he wins a very high percentage of his games.

one game is simply one game.

No, no it wont

Weve had 10 years to define him as a coach...

You mean all the games he has stubbornly run the ball into a stacked box with a 2 TE set and only 1 WR hasn't defined him?

Of course he does for the anti-Miles crowd because every time they declare a defining game he wins. They will keep at it until he loses one of their self-professed "defining games".

I will agree that the game on 1/9 was a huge disappointment and not one of clm best coaching jobs , but shouldn't he get some credit for going undefeated and winning the sec that year ...

im not a fan that thinks clm or his coaching staff shouldn't be questioned at times but after having les for a decade as a very successful coach , and lsu being one of more successful programs I think he gets a bad rap from some fans that will never be satisfied ....

I am willing to say that 90 percent of all collage football programs wish they had the success that we have over the past 10 years ....

also we all know this is sort of a rebuilding season ...
so fans need to quit acting like its the fall of a program when we lose a few games ...

the talent is here and more is on the way ....the future of this program is very bright ......

Nope, but going 99-25, 54-23 while competing in the SEC at a time when Western Division of that conference has been the strongest division of any conference in the history of college football has defined him as one of the very most successful HCs currently in the game.

Why some of you guys seem so childishly bitter toward the best we have ever known in results is beyond me, but knock yourself out!

here we go again uh huh and he should have 9 more wins to add to that but he doesn't because of the multiple coaching flaws that have been laid our here plenty times. Probably should have more championships also. only 1 west title in 7 years after this year. that's underachieving with the talent and facilities and money he is being paid.

Curly Hallman could have coached that talented 1/9 team to an undefeated season. Miles lost me that night.

Les Miles has already been defined as a coach. Great recruiting, poor gameday coach. He wins 80% of he games, but we have more talent than 90% of our opponents

You are the stupidest.. You think its easy to win games in the SEC and run a big time fooball program. We should have 9 more wins. (lol) And we could have 30 more losses playing the toughest scedule in college football every year. But we don't. The guy wins 80% of games. LOL yeah thats easy to do. Dumbass

After 10 years at LSU, Miles has been pretty well defined. In dozens of games, by thousands of "experts."

No, it will not define Les as a coach, but yes we do need defensive leaders.
