State had beaten us at home at night, Auburn had killed us 41-7, eliminated from divisional contention, season was essentially over, we were just coming off a narrow slightly inspiring win over a bad Florida team in the swamp. Then #3 Ole Miss and Bro Wallace come to town. LSU defense played inspired, out of their mind football the entire time and made for one of my all time favorite games.

Auburn and Jarrod Stantham are about to take a huge L in Death Valley this Saturday.

I'd feel better if we could complete a pass past 5 yards

Not really. Starting a freshman Harris on the plains vs a gritty senior etling at home just isn't the same feels

I'll admit my passionate despise of auburn has me inspired but it's not delusional to think we could easily win this game

Lawrence practicing today and Herron being back in the rotation is huge for this game. We’re gonna need all the help we can get for this Auburn run game.

Just need Malone and Weathersby back in a bad way.

I'm pretty sure there was a 40 point win over KY in between Florida and Ole Miss in 2014

I guess you didn't watch that 2014 team? We were barely hitting 5 yard passes.

That game was incredible, and I hope the crowd from that night is in the stands Saturday

I agree with you too. On paper Ole Miss should have killed LSU, but a home game in a big rivalry screams a close one. Plus that Ole Miss game was a revenge game too
