This board used to say Frank Wilson and Ed O were dirty ...

... Said they didn't want either anywhere near the program. Said we'd be on probation immediately with either one. Many claimed inside knowledge about Wilson and Ed O and said, "trust me, you don't want them around LSU."
Anyone remember that?
I do. Everyone was wrong.
My point is simply that fans often know little when it comes to coaches and "character issues." I'm already seeing a lot of, "I don't want ___________ anywhere near LSU" because of some "character" issue.
You might be right. But, there's also a good chance you have no idea what you're talking about.

I tend to agree with you.
A lot of posters here tend to see the world as very black & white. Any tidbit of unfavorable news about someone they view as a threat or who simply isn't their first choice for something, and they want to view that person as a caricature of some sinister fiend who will destroy every program they touch.
