I've been on the Rant for almost a decade. It goes like this:
1. Bitch about last season (Jan-Feb)
2. Get super excited about recruiting class (Feb-March)
3. Bitch more that the recruiting class will be underutilized by Miles (March-June)
4. Start showing optimism as practice details are released (June-July)
5. Full blown optimism....predictions of 12-0 are most likely to be seen during this time (July-Aug)
6. Season Starts. Criticism from every angle, even in victory (Sept-Dec)
7. If we lose a game, Miles is the worst coach in the SEC and those optimistic people from just a few months back "knew it all along"
Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

Look at any teams board in August and this is prevalent. Everyone puts there fan glasses on because everyone is excited for the new season. Well not everyone

The rant is like a bipolar woman. The day they finally realize they truly have no idea, nor any control of what is going to happen during the season, is the day the rant will truly be at peace. Until that day comes--and you just wait patiently riggght there for it to come-- enjoy the roller coaster shite show.
