I was predicting -5 or so by kickoff. I understand all the reasons being mentioned but this team lost to Liberty, lost to A&M, got destroyed by State, and barely beat South Carolina and Missouri State.

We should win by 10+

We will. They’re trapping the trap game bettors. We have Perk for KJ. Kelly was already harping on being ready for Arkansas before the Bama game. This team and coaches are focused and they are better than Arkansas.

I don’t think you understand how point spreads work.

I believe odds makers are counting on a big emotional letdown by the Tigers after a huge win, which is common in college football. Don’t be surprise if Arky is leading by half. They are playing to ruin our run to “chaos”!

I could see them coming out fired up, maybe even taking a lead like Auburn or MSU did. But we will wear them down eventually. It’ll prolly be closer than we like but Tigers win.

I have faith Coach Kelly will have this team ready to go.

Times have changed.

Most books increase their limits thursday or friday. That's when the betting syndicates come in with enough money to move the spread.

Experts think we can't handle a 245 lbs running QB and a 227 lb RB. If they average over 4 yrds per cary, statistically speaking , we will lose or win within 3 pts.

They totally overlook the fact the hogs do not have a secondary.

You should celebrate getting no love an at least lay $550 to win $500 on it

Max the ML then when it goes up take the points and enjoy a nice opportunity for a middle and live bet it in between if we ever get points. That's how real degenerates do it.

The odds makers set the initial spread. Betters move the spread during game week until game time. The spread moves during the week to ensure even money on both sides. The only thing Vegas/bookies want is to make money on the 10% juice from the losers.

Explain how the spread not being favorable for LSU affects our players’ ability to win the game

‘Spreads’ have ZERO to do with the outcome of a game. Too many variables.

And the Ole Miss spread was what -1.5? Spreads don't determine our outcomes.

It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant this board is with spreads.

Looking at the matchup on vegasinsider it looks like the public is heavy on LSU but the big money is heavy on Arkansas. Definitely has me worried also
