I could see him wearing different head gear.

I don't see it. Herbstreit and him probably hate each other.

ETA: Houston Nutt would be a better fit.

Don't kid yourself. They would love to get Les. He is funny, and the dude is smart. The only ones that think he really is dumb is the 19 year old idiots on here....dude had a masters in Econ from a top notch academic school and makes $5M a year...yeah he dumb.

I could definitely see Les being Holtz's replacement. Both are phenomenal communicators.

I don't know why people keep saying this. Corso in his prime was quick witted and zany, but was coherent and easy to follow.

Miles is a nice guy, and is often amusing, but he speaks in largely incoherent platitudes and cliches. His message is rarely ever easily discernable and that's a no-no for TV. He also doesn't have the same wacky personality at all.

This. The man is incomprehensible most of the time.

I just don't see him as the head gear guy. I can see Houston Nutt doing it.

I was thinking of this during Game Day. I honestly think it is a tremendous fit. Les Miles is also a ham.

He shows up at Feinbaum's book signing, makes his way on to a Segment with the SEC crew recently.

I think he needs something to reinvigorate him, but I think this is a few years away. Les loves playing to the crowd.

When he not doing (his version of) coach-speak, he is quick-witted, funny, and does well unscripted.

He could be just like Holtz - Michigan-LSU national championship prediction every year!

No. His accent is too hard to understand, and the majority of the country doesn't speak or comprehend gibberish

I know a lot of idiots who have advanced degrees, and the latter only proves that George Bass is smart, and kind of a sleezebag.

Anyway, Brittney Spears has a lot of money, as does Kim K. I guess they're geniuses too, huh?

If you've seen Miles speak on more private settings and as said earlier, not using coach speak, comes off much smarter.

Miles reminds me of the Governor in Blazing Saddles played by Mel Brooks. I would pass on Les as a TV personality. My pick to replace Corso would be someone like Mike Leach. Strange as frick but seems to know his shite and who isn't afraid to stir things up.

Honestly, I think he's too good for that spot. I think he would be a great analyst, but I think most people see Corso as a goofy, loud, old dude. I think Miles is too calm for that spot.

This describes Corso perfectly. I think Miles is much more down to earth than that. At least what I've seen.
