First all, I haven't seen that proven wrong, if you can provide a link, I'll stand corrected.

The football team posted its two highest grade-point averages over the most recent academic year, with a 2.779 GPA last fall and a 2.711 this past spring. The team's Academic Progress Rate (APR), another measure the NCAA uses to track student-athlete success, rose from a 921 in the 2006-07 year to a 975 in 2009-10. The school had 24 football players graduate last year, Hyman said.

Long story short, things have gotten better under Spurrier, and will be reflected with future releases.

We all know what opinions are like, you can have yours of Dabo's rant if you wish. Maybe he should've done another one before the Orange Bowl?

We like being the SEC, good competition makes you better. Just because you hate your conference doesn't mean everyone has to.

It's pretty pathetic that this Lonnie Utah goes on tigernet and pretends to be a warm and cozy clemson fan

I've never said I'm a clemson fan over there. I might come to your house to visit, but I'm not going to shite on your rug. That doesn't mean I'm not going to talk about you behind your back to the neighbors...

That's fine. But there is a difference between liking, and worshipping/bragging about it. We truly could care less. Congrats to those SEC teams actually winning titles.

So far they seem to have a very blurred vision on reality and really has a bad understanding of football.

To me, it sounds like they will fit in just fine here...

There are good fans on both sides of the rivalry in SC, and then there are those each side wishes they could give to the other team....

Does Clemson hold the advantage in the series? Yes, they do.

Does the fact that it was a military and farm school from it's inception until well it still is our state's farm school.. (Big well-fed farm boys playing their future bosses had to make for uneven W-L records) Then the 20 years of non-conference affiliation was brutal, but not near as brutal as the first decade in the SEC.) We Gamecocks have taken our lumps, but it paid off. We are not the historic storied legends of the SEC, but we have proven as of late to be competitive. We may never win an SEC Championship, but to say we have competed in the greatest conference in the nation.... I'd rather be in the SEC looking out than the wannabe's looking in.

I also wanted to add that we thoroughly enjoyed our Death Valley experience in Baton Rouge. (well except for the loss) We walked around the beautiful campus - and received all the "TIGER BAIT" chants. It's funny almost everytime that we were "approached" with a group of Tiger Bait chanters it was followed with, "Hey y'all come over here and have some gumbo, creole, jambalaya and a drink". It was a great day.

YOU have? A schizo with 22 personalities.

Okay, I get it. Clemson fans are Bama fans in disguise. You know, they live vicariously through a football team and equate their own success with that team. It's delusional. They always say WE when they mean them (the team). They don't have anything to do with the team, but they don't realize it.

So, yeah it's going to be easy to hate them. Just think of Bama rednecks in orange.

At least Bama has the history behind it to act like Bama fans do. Clempson won 1 national title, got put on severe probation because of it, and most would put their school 7-10 programs of all-time.

Clemson is an agricultural and engineering school (think AU + a lake) that is tucked away in the upper corner of the state and isolated from everywhere else. There they sip on their own orange kool-aid all day and when anyone says anything negative about them they refuse to accept it. The only time they might hint at accepting it is when they get it taken to them. Consequently under Dabo that happens every time Clemmons plays anyone of equal or greater talent.

As you can tell by their presence, they are much more obsessed with us then we are of them. Heck, from the late 70s to early 90s they weren't even our biggest rival.

But you should know, their history started in 2009. Bama arrogance with that Vandy trophy case. Doesn't bother me when they talk trash, especially about The CU area...have you ever been to Columbia??

Only real men survive a name like Leslie. It probably made him grow up to be a lineman for Michigan.
