They need a new tourney format

To get this finished with the weather. single elimination and 7 inning games.

I can beat that. How about a 2 hour time limit on these 7 inning games. If the 2 hour limit is hit in the 5th oh well the game ends after 5

I would just keep the same format but go 7 inning games. They allow 7 inning 10 run rules in Hoover, something they don't do in the season. Just let it all be seven to speed things along since we are about to have teams playing double headers.

Even if you go 7 innings, Johnson will still make LSU games last 4 hours. He's the master of stall tactics.

As long as you get the LSU game in today you can do 4 games the next two days and 1 game Sunday in the current format.

In all seriousness I think LSU plays today. It will be late but I think once the rain is done they will play as late as they have to.

Why not limit the tourney to the top 10 teams and do away with the 4 game/day format.

Single elimination is not a bad idea. But I am not for the 7 inning games.

The fact that the 11 & 12 seed won this year further validates why they should keep it at the top 12.
