These are TRULY the Golden Years of LSU Football!!

Just sit back for a minute..Isn't it one HELL OF A TIME TO BE A TIGER FAN?? 
We are about to be 10-0, and with just two games left after WKU we have a chance to go undefeated, then on to beat UGA, then to New Orleans for ANOTHER National Title game!
Man, how things have changed. Even before the season, some were predicting 3 losses..said our schedule was too hard. But with a suffocating, fast defense and an offense that's steady and though not flashy, CONSISTENT..we are on a "roll" to New Orleans!
And the very scary thing about this team is that next year we WILL be even better. We keep the majority of star athletes on both sides of the ball and only lose a few..
On Defense we return: Honey Badger, Eric Reid, Brockers, Logan, Montgomery, Mingo
On offense: Ware, Ford, Blue, Hilliard, Magee, Shep, (probably)Randle, Beckham, Copeland, and bring in probably one of the most talented qb's ever to pass through LSU, Zack Mettenberger
The present and future is glorious, boys...soak it up and GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!

Love your enthusiasm. I'm serious when I ask this. Is Mett really one of the most talented to come through LSU (yes j realize he hasn't really played yet)? I know as a Tiger fan I should know his background and stats but I dont, and fully expect to be flamed for it, but that's why I'm asking.

Just from watching him when he did play(though very sparingly)it is apparent that he is the real deal, at least to me. And i have watched a lot of quarterbacks come through LSU. He has an absolute cannon of an arm, seems cool in the pocket and is a smart kid. I realize he had a few issues while at Georgia but I trust Miles will straighten him out if he hasn't already.
