No one that matters wants him as LSU’s HC.

You got sauces? I mean you’re probably right, but what’s your evidence?

Ed having his job at 5:30 on Sunday, says otherwise.

Hey, I’m just calling it like it is. There’s a hold up. And there shouldn’t be. We are better than this.

No excuse that he is still employed by LSU. This week is going to be a disaster

How could there be? They’ve warned him on numerous occasions to clean up his act and avoid negative publicity. He simply refuses to listen.

Seems to me the fact that he is still the LSU head coach would indicate otherwise. I think we can plan on CEO holding on until the end of the year.

All these people posting about Ed being hated by everyone at LSU who matters is all fun and dandy but prove it. He’s completely tanked the program and here we are Sunday night gearing up for an empty stadium against Florida who will be playing their reserves by halftime.

Going on a tangent here, but related...

There's probably plenty on the admin and BoS side who have convinced themselves, willingly, that the idea of firing Orgeron mid-season will "send a bad message" and damage the ability to get the next coach.

A) We'll probably hear that at some point
B) I wholeheartedly believe that has no basis in reality and is only a manufactured self-justification
C) As long as Woodward doesn't go there- it'll be ok.

I have no idea if he’ll get fired during the season or not, but it would make sense to me if they’re trying to reduce the buyout or pay no buyout (which certainly they will be making an attempt to do), it makes it legally tricky to simply fire him after a bad loss.

I’m sure they’ve got a plan. Woodward didn’t just start thinking of all the contingencies and issues involved Saturday or this week…I’d imagine he’s had a plan and general framework for how it’s going to go down for a while now.

I could see it happening on monday during normal press conferences to start the football week and using sunday to get everything lined out ready to go. Also you could “if you trusted O” let him have a time with the team. But the getting prepared for the transition on Sunday and prepping the interim seems possible before Monday

No, it actually doesn’t. Just because the administration is not impatient and pushing the panic button like everyone here doesn’t mean they support him. O WILL be fired this year. That’s a certainty. But, just because it’s not on your watch doesn’t mean he has anyone’s support that matters.
