It's not just this board. There's a Bama-overload in coverage. They've been the best team for the last few years so thereby have gotten a lot of attention. That saturation begins to turn off many fans of college football in general.

Well done BRex. I agree with everything written. May as well throw in the caveat that "they" are now winning with our old coach. I think that's more of the "angst" than anything else IMO. Winning takes care of everything in sports. There was a time (just a few years back) when LSU was considered a dynasty in the making. Our QB situation and the team in red slowed that train down. Would be nice to get the train (as in the LFtrain) rolling again. Geaux Tigers!!!!

I don't think so. They're where we want to be. If it wasn't them, it'd just be somebody else like Florida was our main competition in the late 2000's. Great part is we're fighting with these programs for not only SEC, but national superiority which is cool as hell imo.
One win over the gumps and all this nonsense goes away, unless of course another program besides us steps into that void, and then that team becomes the obsessee. Not sure if that's a word but I'm gonna ride with it.
