We lost. It’s over. The real loser mentality is not moving on to the next game because you’re too busy focusing on the last one. So I would say OP and his ilk are the real losers with the loser mentality.

Yeah, I mean that’s basically college football.
I’m in no way arguing we shouldn’t have won the game, of course, but sometimes teams who will appear “terrible” for all of most of a year will show up to a game play lights out. That’s pretty much what sports is. If the only thing that would ever happen would be what should happen, then what is the fricking point?
The fact that you can’t look to Saturday and point out what about A&M appeared “terrible” is kind of the point, though.

You were completely overlooking A&M and only worried about LSU making the playoffs. When the 18-22 year olds did the same thing you think that is Kelly’s fault? Adult fanbase did not respect A&M and wrote m/talked about playoffs all week. You think the kids were going to be more mature than us and not look ahead? The fanbase created the environment for looking ahead and now we want to blame the only group (coaches) that was actually respecting A&M all week.

Doesn't it just suck when the other team plays hard and tries to win also?
How do you know the team wasn't up for the game? I have been saying all along the defense was due to wear down due to lack of depth, and I think we saw that Saturday. And with all that, we were still poised to take control of the game until Daniels had the unfortunate fumble.
shite happens, man. It sucks. But don't come here with "the team wasn't motivated" bullshite.

I agree with everything except the bolded part. The coaches absolutely have responsibility for preventing their players from thinking this way.

That's kind of the whole value of the CFB regular season.
Kind of like my arguments yesterday about expanded playoffs. In a championship-determining system, you want to minimize upsets as much as possible, especially big ones. CFB has historically been the best at this very system, which is why the BCS era catapulted CFB's popularity.

Nothing TAMU did was anything special. Hell their passing game consisted of throwing up prayer jump balls.
Archane was really good, but their offense was the same shitty Jimbo offense that he's run for 10+ years. House couldn't adjust to the same thing they've shown on film all year.
Our offensive scheme has regressed to the conservative run-first idiocy that hurt us early. We are trying to be a run-first team without the blocking TE or RB talent to make it work. The only reason it's worked all year is b/c of JD's dynamic running ability. That scheme also hurts any chance of JD passing well, so it kills you on both ends.

I'm with you bro! I'm tired of all this, well we shouldn't have even been here shite. That's a loser's mentality. Never go into a fight saying, well we're probably going to lose but that's okay cuz we're not supposed to win. Yeah, I'm glad we had our season and we may be SEC champs, but I want more wins, and I think we can get more wins.
