This game was not unlike 1/9. I feel for the qb, but the team has given up on him and our offensive scheme. The same could be said for 1/9/12 where there was an obvious option, but no change was made to attempt to change the outcome. Explain why LF did not get more carries, or Quinn did not see the field. Mistakes are not dealt with on an equal basis, and the team sees this.

Hopefully something will change because I have thought all year that LSU had the potential to be special. This group of young men needs a reason to bond together and continue to fight, and I think an obvious attempt by the coaches to turn things around could be that reason. JMO

Nothing will change as long as Miles is the head coach. DWI

Poor thread title. The offense did not play well, for sure, but the defense played its arse off and did all it could to keep LSU alive in the game. Don't insult those kids who gave it their all with your shitty post and title.

Pretty much what I was eluding to . . . team can't succeed in the stubborn scheme the coaches dictate.

I don't think they gave up. They lost two O-line starters and their coaches couldn't adjust to help them out. Also they could not match the emotional intensity from Arkanasas, when things were not working.

Miles looked like a fricking scared child every time they showed him on the sideline.

As Hanagriff said on the Saturday night post game referring to Spurrier saying there is sort of a 10 year rule that you kind of grow tired of each other after 10 years in the coaching profession. We are there my friends, I don't care about Speedy's stats, what matters is the recent 3 to 4 years and don't pad the wins with the McNeese State (no offense Cowboys, I still pull for you guys), Furman, Towson, SHSU , Kent State and the likes, the program is in decline. If you like winning 8 to9 games a year then fine but if you want to win SEC championships and compete for the playoffs, its time for change. JMO and certainly Miles enthusidasts you are thus entitled to yours but this is a message board and that's what it is all about, Don't need name calling, etc. just state your opinion.

We have no pride. We should pay Auburn whatever they want to let us play Alabama at the end of the season. That way it doesn't cost us as many games when we give up after losing to them.

ARKANSAS that hasn't won an SEC game since the ice age scored 17 points on us. The defense gave 110% but they still stank it up.

The potential for a let down was brewing since the bama lost. Arkansas played with a lot of emotion and LSU just didn't match it.

I will give you that, I just thought we would look a little better and maybe lose down the stretch.

the defense didn't play its greatest game ever, but 265 yds given up/ 2.5 ypc and only 10 pts through 3 qtrs when the offense is doing nothing is a good effort. they played a good game.

Get a clue, buddy.

They held them to 264 total yards, which is 168 below their average.

They held them to 95 yards rushing, which is 137 yards below their average.

They held them to 17 points, which is HALF of their average.

I noticed it when the camera showed AJ on the sidelines trying to talk to the offense and they just ignored him.

Defense played well enough that we should have beaten Arkansas by 3 TDs. Offense just sucks.

LSU fan for life, but as long as Leslie is in Baton Rouge he will never beat Bama while saban is at the capstone nor win another title. Deep down inside even the Highland & Lee World Unicorn riders know that.

No, our D played great. Held Arky's offense to 250 yards. That's MORE THAN ENOUGH to win a game.

This one is on the offense, which really means it's on Miles and Cam.

Life is not fair. Plain and simple. The coaches obviously did not feel like these two gave them the best chance to move the football Saturday night.

I disagree the team did not give up, actually that is truly insulting the team. When you have a game plan that fools no one "especially the defensive players and DC" not even the fans from the stands, then executing those plays becomes extremely difficult. This has more to do with play calling that players giving up.
