The same offense will work fine if Harris gets his completion percentage up to 60 plus percent and can complete some third down passes.

quote:

That '13 defense took a giant shite on one of if not the best offense Miles has had. Certainly the best of the non-Jimbo era.

That offense finished 30+ nationally in total offense that year and middle of the pack in the SEC in total offense.

With what in hindsight, was one of the most absurd assemblages of skill position talent ever to grace a college football team.

Basically, if that team attained a mid-pack total offense SEC rating and a 30+ national total offense rating, then the "norm" LSU should expect is lower tier SEC total offense and 60+ national total offense ranking.

Then you are a dumbass just like him for saying it. There is NO WAY for you to know at this point. But, don't let that get in the way of your bashing...and your opportunity to spread negativity. Idiot.

And while the D certainly had its struggles in 2013, those offensive studs we had made crucial mistakes in the games we lost in 2013.

OBJ muff punt @ UGA late in the game. Game was a shootout and we finally got them the punt on D and we muff it. UGA gets the ball near the red zone, score a few plays player. 14pt swing.

Bama game - Great 1st drive, then we give the the ball JC Copeland on the 1 yard line. He fumbles and Bama recovers the ball. Great drive and nothing to show for it. Took the wind out of our sails.

Ole Miss game - Mett has 3 INTs in the 1st half and Miles benched Hill in the 2nd half because he fumbled it, but recovered it. So no harm done. Still benched him.

I'm not saying that offense wasn't great or that D didn't have issues. Offense was awesome and D was young and inexperienced. But in the games we lost, our offensive players and play calling and coaches decisions made major mistakes that hurt us. Football is a 2 way game and you don't lose because of just 1 side of the ball.
