Will our new DC slow down our new offense?

The spring game will be boring. Neither offense or defense is going to show anything but vanilla.

We showed literally everything there is to show last season. There’s nothing to hide

yeah but... there is little to install, assuming the 4-3 conversion is not that major, so most of the spring will be new guys competing for leverage on the depth chart. All the guys needing off season body maint will be out or no-contact.

Biggest story will be if Brennan clearly separates from the pack on QB pecking order or if there is a decent challenger. I dont think that Brennan is the question here because most people know what his current level is. The question is whether there is a Peter Parrish, TJ, or Mad Max that is gonna push him.

It's the Myles Brennan show, good or bad.

The spring game last year showed us everything we needed to know about the offense.

Its been said many times by the team the spring game was the first indicator the offense was gonna be good, sounds like something to pay attention to. I think it'll show where we're at with Brennan.

Last spring game wasn't even close to what we ran in season

What would be the point of being vanilla if we're running the same offense?

you don't watch the spring game to look for great playcalling. You watch it to see what the talent looks like. 3 QBs will suit up that we've NEVER seen play in the P&G before. #1 TE in the country will play, the OL will be new faces all around, we'll get to watch our stud RBs, we'll see what our defense looks like in a 4-3, who's stepping up at corner with Fulton gone and at safety with Delpit gone and with Hampton playing baseball that day. I'm very excited for the Spring Game this year.

I’ll be watching the O-line. Hines at center and LT position specifically. If the O-line plays well this season then I expect Brennan and the offense to follow suit

Spring games have gone the route of a national signing day in Feb, just not that important.

I always thought it was hilarious when 80k gumps filled their stadium to watch such nonsense, but hey that's why their gumps.

The Spring game was the first indication that the offense was going to be different. How different? Nobody knew.
