Turn off the Ole Miss game, go to the corner, sit in the full lotus position and chant "serenity now". Works for me.

If they come spread option and you go man, there is no zone read. And what formation would the spread be?

What is the standard defense for a spread option like Appy? Regardless of a teams strength's or weakness on defense.

If not, you will know after the first series or two when the Mountaineers show up....if so, it could be ugly...GO APPS!!!!

Pelini taught 11 men at the point of attack which created a very aggressive defense, but as was shown in the Arky games, many times we bit on the fake. You have to be disciplined enough to stay at home, defenses will adapt to this just as they did the triple option offense.

So going man is a good thing no? The key would be lateral movement after penetration. The lb's pursuit and filling lanes. just asking.

Somebody was talking about a quarter formation the other day. I'm thinking they'll tinker with that a bit.

the zone refers to zone blocking, not zone pass coverage
