...I thought did a pretty good job. The Richardson TD was the only call that I thought was questionable that could have made a difference. I kind of thought his hip may have been down before he extended the ball but it was probably too close to overturn the ruling on the field. It didn't amke a difference anyway and I thought the game was called pretty good.

It looked to me that the Richardson TD was a good call.

missed an Alabama horsecollar on Ford on a crucial 3rd down play.

They screwed up when the ref stood over the ball til there was 5 secs on the play clock costing LSU a delay of game. Other than that it was pretty good

I thought so too...but someone said yesterday that in College there is no horsecollar rule.

I wondered about the horse collar too. they bama guy rode it and then let off, without completely pulling on it, but that's how he prevented the first down, and I thought it should've been called.

For SEC refs, I was really surprised. I'm not going to complain about anything.

Totally missed a hands to the face by bama o line on Drake. I think the play may have produced a bama first down. Not sure if it was on a scoring drive, but the penalty could've likely killed that drive. It was as blatant of a hands to the face (all up in his face mask) as I've seen. That was the only one I remember going nuts about.

While we're talking about plays that went Bama's way, I counted at least one early offsides and a crucial non-pass interference late in the game by LSU's D that were not called.

I think LSU was off sides on a crucial 3rd down that wasn't called, also Mingo smacking McElroy in the head wasn't called.

its only a horsecollar if he gets inside the shoulder pads, grabbing jersey doesnt count...and im not sure if college has that rule

I only saw that play on the highlights and it looked pretty close to me, too. Did they review it?

Its nice to have a cornerback thats substantially bigger than the other teams TB.

Yes, the missed pass interference that LSU did was horrible. But all in all it was a good called game.

I noticed that also... I thought it wasn't called because he may not have been pulled down to the ground???

richardson was in, barely, but in. the refs let the teams play and only called blatant fouls. it makes for a good game and i wish they always called 'em that way.

there is no horse collar rule in college but the refs can call a personal foul if it's vicious. i'm assuming since he didn't tackle him with it, they didn't call it

Replay clearly showed he scored. That play was a great play on both Richardson and PP7 and showed how hard the teams play each other.

It was a very well refereed game.....LSU will pay for it next year in tuscaloosa
