The reason bringing in refs at practice doesn't work.

they are calling a legitimate game at practice.

They don't practice enough due to Os ignorance on experience and inexperience. You can't handle all teams the same.

You are one dumb fricking human. They're obviously taking steps to fix a problem. Will it work? We'll know in a week or so. Until then, hows about your appreciate the fact that they're trying to fix things so they can win and you can be happy and beat your lil bird with your favorite LSU halter top on.

They need repetition, not referees. You practice the repetition to achieve excellence and this can't be done without physical contact against eCh other a lot, especially when you're a young team.
According to O, he believed Miles teams got tired at the end of the season due to how hard they practiced. That may be so, BUT the team he inherited were disciplined because of that. Without it, they lost discipline in other aspects of the business especially academics and a will to want to play for him.
Without exception, there was never a question about how Miles' players played hard for him. That's why those games were always so hard fought even when his coaching was poor.
That team last week gave up.

The OP agrees with you. I agree with you. I also agree with the premise of the OP.
I've said for years LSU should practice and prepare mentally for SEC BS.

I don't think that was the issue. It might have been a Bama hangover, from both the physical punishment in that game and the fact that the only thing on the line was Peach or Citrus Bowl.
We did a little better last November (2-1) but the wins were against Aggy, who never beat Les, and a bad R-Kansas team.
