Those denighing that tiger rant makes a difference are mostly the nega tigers who think that they can control the team handling , through their negatism !

negatism

That sounds like some kind of porn thing......I think negativity is the proper word...

Hey, some people are perfectly happy while the world burns around them, and others are never happy even though their being fed grapes....that being said, there are measures that indicate whether or not a coach or player is good or successful.

I like the term , negatism maybe with some repeats , it will take its place as a word , that being said negativity has never built a bridge or anything else that is any good !

Well of course it does. Such a silly question.

but the coaches are fair game.

how does spewing negativity about the coaches in public forum help to advance lsu's position when perception is so critical to accumulating the assets that we need to be successful?

we have good people doing the hard work of keeping our athletic teams successful, and the angry mobs on the internet - fueled mostly by jealousy and false entitlement - do nothing but make their jobs that much more difficult.

relentlessly shite on coaches for every small perceived transgression, then moan to no end when our effective coaches roll out and we come up short on signing day with a handful of difference makers that listen to this shite every day and want no part of it.

I disagree with coaches sometimes. I am critical of their decisions. I am also critical of a players' actions/play. But I never "shite" on them. There has to be a distinction and there is one here. And I think it's pretty black and white. Not even a fine line. I can say a player is a bad hitter. No problem there. But I can't say he's a POS who doesn't deserve to be on the team. What's sad is that some have a problem seeing a difference between those two. And they're either on the side that thinks all is fair game and should be banned for being an outright a-hole to 18-22 year olds. Or they're wannabe hall monitors who think any criticism is "bashing".

what good does voicing those opinions on this site do for lsu?

seems like it's more about the personal gain of validation by upvote and like-minded response.

why should I care what I say does or doesn't do for LSU? It's my opinion and that's what this place is for: discussion of opinions/facts, good and bad. nothing I post here is for personal gain. It's to say my own thoughts and read the thoughts of others who may agree or disagree. You're looking at this place in a very odd way if you think it should only contain praise.

ETA: and the upvote/downvote is very new. Not sure why it matters. Do I think people should agree with me? Of course not. It just makes them smart.
